Why are video tutorials useless for learning programming?

Because its hard to follow and do the examples too.

Believe me, I tried some tutorials, and even for simple things like fixing a problem with my phone, I had to be rewinding multiple times.

With text and photos its like 1000 times easier. You follow at your own pace, instead of the pace of the video presenter.

It’s literally night and day.
